About Our Programs

Adult Literacy Tutoring

This one-on-one literacy tutoring program is for adults looking to improve their speaking and/or reading skills.  Eligible students are assigned to a volunteer tutor and must meet two hours a week. Students in this program get a personalized learning plan to work towards their reading goals. Meetings must take place at a public location.

Digi-Skills

This program is for adults who are looking to improve their computer and digital literacy skills.  Learn how to use a computer or phone, navigate the internet, search for jobs online, create an email account, use Microsoft Word and more!

If you are interested, stop and see us during our Drop In hours (no appointment necessary!).  If you are unable to stop by, you call call our office for more information (716-876-8991) or complete this form and someone will contact you to discuss how we can help!

STAR (Share the Art of Program) Youth Tutoring

In partnership with the Buffalo Police Athletic League and the City of Buffalo, this program provides free reading tutoring to kids, grades K-8, at two area community centers.
