January 15 – April 15, 2023
What is Scrabble® Fest?
• Scrabble® Fest is an annual fundraising initiative where anyone can help raise money to fight low literacy in our community just by playing board games!
• From January 15 – April 15, anyone can host a board game night playing whatever games you want with friends or family, and help raise money for a good cause at the same time.
Planning Your Party:
It’s easy – just pick a date, invite your family and friends, and set any entry fee you are comfortable with. Party styles can vary and we encourage you to get creative! Some hosts ask for a minimum donation of $10 per person, ranging up to $50. Others encourage guests to donate what they can. Some parties are casual with beer and chips, some parties are elaborate dinners or brunches, and some even have themes. Themes in the past have included a High Tea, Star Wars, and St. Patrick’s Day!
The person with the highest individual combined score at the end of the party will be your winner, who will be invited to the Finals Tournament. Make sure to write down the winner’s name and contact information on the Party Registration Form attached tothe Scrabble® Fest Toolkit.
