Privately hosted Scrabble® Fest parties help to raise funding and awareness for literacy.

What is Scrabble® Fest?

Scrabble® Fest is a year-round fundraising initiative, where anyone can help raise money to fight low literacy in our community just by playing board games!

Planning Your Party

It’s easy — just pick a date, gather your family, friends or coworkers, and set any entry fee you are comfortable with. Some hosts ask for a minimum donation of $10 per person, ranging up to $50. Others encourage guests to donate what they can.

Party styles can vary, and we encourage you to get creative!  Host a casual party with beer and chips, an elaborate dinner/brunch, or even a themed party.

The person with the highest individual combined score at the end of the party will be your winner. Make sure to write down the winner’s name and contact information on the Party Registration Form attached tothe Scrabble® Fest Toolkit.
